Frequently Asked Questions

  • I primarily provide professional architectural media services throughout the Twin Cities Metro area, including Minneapolis, St. Paul, and surrounding suburbs. For high-end residential and commercial projects or unique architectural builds, I am available for travel throughout Minnesota and the broader Midwest.

  • Rather than charging per image, which can limit creative coverage, my pricing model is based on the total square footage of the property. This approach allows me to focus on capturing the home thoroughly and creatively without the pressure of an image count. Every shoot includes broad usage rights, ensuring you have the flexibility to use the media across all your marketing channels.

  • For custom projects such as architectural, design, and commercial photography, I utilize a tiered day rate model rather than square footage. This approach allows for the time necessary to manage precise compositions, larger spaces, advanced lighting, and meticulous staging.

    • Quarter-Day Rate: Ideal for portions of a house, exterior sets or smaller retail spaces.

    • Half-Day Rate: Best for standard commercial properties, detailed interior projects, or a completed renovation for your design portfolio.

    • Full-Day Rate: Reserved for large-scale developments or hospitality projects that also require a range of lighting from dawn to twilight photography.

  • While I specialize in real estate and architectural media, I can tailor a session to meet your specific branding needs such as environmental headshots for your team or even product photography.

  • For standard real estate photography, I typically deliver the final, professionally retouched images within 24 to 48 hours. Complex architectural projects or shoots requiring extensive advanced blending and retouching may have a longer lead time, which we will discuss during the booking process.

  • Every shoot includes a broad usage license that grants you the right to use the images for your website, social media, and professional marketing materials indefinitely. As the photographer, I retain the copyright, which is standard in the architectural media industry. If other project partners—such as the architect, interior designer, or builder—wish to use the images for their own portfolios, I offer cost-sharing or third-party licensing options. This allows all parties to receive high-resolution, professional imagery at a fraction of the cost of a standalone shoot.
